I am down to my stash of LR Mag primers, I have several loads worked up for 30 cal. My go to powders are the usual 4759. 2400. 4227, etc. should I be looking at adjusting my loads when using Mag. primers?

If your loads are not moderate to begin with, it's always prudent to adjust powder charges down when making component changes.
You may find this information useful for loading 2400.

if the loads are not max then you will not have any problems. if you are at max or over i would recheck them over a chronograph to see what the numbers are. i have found mag primers don't give much more over standard primers in the fps game. look at the primers boxes. i got some winchester large pistol primers and the box states, for standard and mag loads.
No powder charge adjustment is needed ... put a construction wad inside the case next to the primer hole. This will reduce the flame (briance) of the primer, effectively down to a LR level

John
ok, something new to me, what exactly is a primer construction wad?
