    Loads for the 7.62X39 AR?

Going to start loading cast in the AR 7.62X39 to use for cast matches.
Was planning on using the Lee C312-155-2R.
    I have 2400, CFE BLK and H4198
    Any Pet loads for accuracy?

What kind of "matches"? What ranges?

I've no AR in 7.62x39 but in my M X Mauser and Russian SKS, both with 20" barrels, I use the Lee 312-155-RN GC'd and lubed over 27 gr H4895 in Winchester or IMI cases. Runs 1850 fps and knocks down full size rams at 200 yards......with authority.

The one I built but sold to a local hog hunter shot the Lee C309150F sized .311" over 25grs of IMR3031 very well.

    First Range trip

Well I got out this morning to test a couple loads.
    Things are looking good.
    Shooting was @ 50yds. off a bipod.
    150gr. LEE G/C Bullets.
    Loaded over 18, 19, and 20gr. of RL7
18.0 not so great grouping, stringing and barely ejected.
19.0 Much better grouping .73 with one flyer taking it to 1.180 and one failure to eject proper.
20.0 Even better grouping, 4 rounds into .68 with the one
    flyer taking it to 1.22

So next outing will be 20, 20.5 and 21gr. of RL7
Will hopefully run some through a Chrono see what what kind'a numbers I'm getting.
Cast loads fed perfect through the Mag and smooth into the chamber.
I have lots of these bullets and some LEE C312-155-2R Sized .312 on the way.

I have not loaded any 7.62x39 in years but when I did load it for a SKS and a Colt AR15 it was Lee 155 grain gas checked with AA 2460 with 23 grains
