I had a dear old friend pass away a couple of months ago. He was the big brother I never had. We both loved old .22's, military rifles, and general shooting fun.
We could talk handloading and casting for hours, and enjoyed working up loads and forming brass for weird calibers.
These two pistols were listed in his will for me. They are Cimarron reproductions of Colt 1851 Navy revolvers, with the Richards-Mason conversion to 38spl. Consecutive serial numbers.
I don't believe my friend ever fired them, but he treasured them. He had the box made up with all the little accessories inside.
I love having them, but I'd rather have my friend back...
