    475 linebaugh

What mold or molds should I be looking at for a freedom arms 475 or 480. I'm interested in a 477-640 but they arent in stock.

Try Lee C476-325-RF or Lee C476-400-RF. Unfortunately they are not available in the excellent Lee six-cavity blocks, the but the two-cavity molds produce good bullets too.

I have that mold. It works great, it drops 380 grain bullets at a .477 diameter with my alloy.

Is that the lee 400gr? How long is the nose on those bullets? I bought a MP 477-640 mold the other day. Need to make a push through sizer on my lathe so I can size them after casting.

It is the Lee 400grain. I’ll have to get back to you on nose length

The nose length from the bottom crimp groove is .510 and .488 from the top crimp groove.

Those are too long for my linebaugh cylinder then. I could probably use them in the 480 though.
