MEC 600 Jr Reloading Press,, What Is It Worth?

I received this MEC 600 Jr 12 gauge many years ago in a trade,,
I tried reloading shot shells , it works, but, it does not really interest me.

So, how much should I ask for the press? All that I have is in the pic.

I do enjoy metallic reloading, would I be in line to ask for a RCBS Rock Chucker press in trade?

If not that, what other metallic reloading components would have similar value?

The press is located near Roanoke VA,,

    Thanks for looking

A rock chucker would be a fair trade. Depending on how fast you want it to sell, you could start at $100, and come down if needed.

Also, you are missing the pad for the priming station. It is a cheap part, about $5

Knock the rust off with some steel wool, list the gauge, replace a couple missing parts, should bring $100, but like said before, depends on how fast you want to move it. Just my opinion.Good luck to you.
I firmly believe that you should only get treated by how you act, not by who or what you are!!

And the priming spring. I would pay $75 if I needed one, $25 at a yard sale. They are good loaders though.

Take a look on Ebay for what they are going for. I bought one there that was brand new in the box for $50 but that was an extra good deal. I'd guess yours, as shown to be worth $40 to $50. Gp

just for reference I picked up mec 600 at a pawn shop just before the craziness of 2020 started. it came with a few different shot bars and was also missing the primer spring and pad. and powder funnel and was pre 1985 with steel crimp stations. it was $40. last week saw a good looking mec 9000 in 28 gauge on craigslist for $150

You’ve got a spring and disk missing in the priming cup. If the bottles are soft i’d say $50. (12ga being the most common)

Funky charge bar there. I just found one locally with 3 charge bars for $50 without $20 shipping of course. Even the older machines are good.

It ought to be worth more due to the shortage madness, but... the cost of lead shot kills the resale value.
