    1894 357

    Was shooting mod14 today,and dug out my 357 marlin.the lee 105swc boolit,is splendidly accurate,never tried it threw marlin though.2.8 gr of clays,,,i was concerned that boolet would stick in bore,but no problems,,and amazing 1 hole groups,,

    I never thought about the possibility of a light loaded boolit sticking in the barrel of my Marlin .357.

    I figured even with the longer barrel, there is no cylinder gap to bleed off pressure.
    Plus, with the potential energy lost in a muzzle flash-- the rifle would capture all that too.
    The idea does make me want to clock some and see if they might be even a little faster than coming out of a 6" revolver.

    I never found a boolit that my 1894 wouldn't shoot well!
    Currently casting and loading: .32 Auto, .380 Auto, .38 Special, 9X19, .357 Magnum, .257 Roberts, 6.5 Creedmoor, .30 WCF, .308 WCF, .45-70.
