Beg, Borrow, buy or steal George C. Nonte Jr.'s book: "The home guide to cartridge conversions". It tells you all you want to know about what can be made from what.

Donnely's is also a good one. I haven't been able to locate Nonte's but, in fairness I haven't looked very hard since I got Donnely's.

Other than the title, there is little in common. Nonte talks about how and why. Donnely's book looks like a bad spreadsheet that someone forgot to finish.

    A good "other" book is

That's you opinion. It's saved my bacon several times and has all the information I've ever needed.

I needed some 32rem several years ago, found someone helpful like rayh, then I purchased more from Graf. It's good to know that it can be made from 30-30 in a pinch but it just wasn't worth the trouble and testing when a reasonably priced option like Graf was available.
