Early on in my casting I bought a Lee ten lb bottom pour pot. Never had a problem with it except I had to stop casting every once in a while to add alloy - and wait for it to get up to temp. I solved the problem by buying another identical pot and I mounted it above and a bit behind the lower pot. All my sprues and additional alloy went into the upper pot. When the lower pot got low I topped it up with the upper pot that was already up to temp. With this setup I could really crank out the cast bullets. I had to build a two compartment box the receive the bullets. I found that I needed to use two separate bullet moulds. I could be filling one while the alloy in the other froze. The two compartments allowed me to cast two different bullets - say .430 and .358 at the same time.
