WTB Ruger MK II front sight

Bubba worked on the front sight of the Ruger Mk II target pistol with the heavy tapered 6 7/8" long barrel. It seems that no one carries these any more.

The Ruger P/N is A01501 and it is the one with the "hook" on it. It has to be drilled before installing.

Just give Ruger a call. They should have one and send it for free. I did that when I need a taller sight for my ROA. They sent one for a BH in 45 Colt, that did the trick.

Just a word here about Ruger they seem to be charging for stuff that used to be free I needed a part a few months ago a part less than 2 dollars the young lady said the part was 1.89 and shipping was 4 dollars I got one on e-bay.

I had to pay for my Mark II sights last month when I called Ruger. They were very prompt in getting them to me though.

Thanks for the memory jog. Just got off the phone with a lady named Courtney at Ruger. Very professional, spoke clearly and being old and half deaf, I could understand her.
