    Daisy 707 & 717 need mods

I have a Daisy 707 (about 40 yrs old) and a 717 (about 25 yrs old) both .177 cal. That I have sporadically used to support my indoor tgt practice for a long, long time. The 707 has been serviced by Daisy a couple of times in that period. The 717 has never seen Daisy service. They both still pump, cock and fire well.

I recently started looking to see if Daisy will provide the same service as in old, but have drawn a blank in my searching. They don't seem to mention these models at all on their site.

Anybody have any info on whether this is still possible or not? Or am I just out of luck? I'd appreciate any assistance in this matter. Thanks

I think they still offer the repair service but you have to call them.

Lou these are very simple to do. Parts are cheap and you can have the old girls resealed without too much trouble. Kits are all over EBay & Amazon. Also YouTube tutorials can walk you through it. I did my 717 and the process wasn't bad at all.

For the 717, it's not difficult to do a trigger job also. Disassembly is no big deal. The interface of the trigger and the sear interface can be smoothed, improving the trigger feel.
