Cimarron 1874 Sharps, 50/70, excellent condition, Price check for a buddy.

LGS has one for sale, and a buddy has been wanting one forever. This gun is used, never fired, excellent condition. I found on impression on the stock, that is it. Has the saddle ring, etc. They are asking $975 out the door. I told him to offer $900, but I dont think he could go wrong, would like to hear all of your thoughts on this, make sure I am not guiding him in the wrong direction.

I paid close to $1,300 for mine last year, so even $975 would be a good deal. Same gun, same caliber.

Whatever cannot be remedied, must be endured.

If I had run across that gun it would have come home with me.

    If it's a Pedersoli it's a helluva good price!
