    Replacement Tang Sight Disc

I need to find a replacement sightdisc for my MVA tang sight, it has 10-40 threads according to MVAs web site. I've found the Hadley sight disc in correct size but would like to see some other options, can anyone recommend another for me, haven't found anything so far. Thanks
    Chris W.

Have you tried contacting MVA, they made the sight.

I have emailed them but I'm also looking for other options besides Hadley's if there is any.

    Mongo,

Don't know if your old one is damaged or if the aperture is just too small. If it is good, but want the larger opening, a numbered drill set works well to enlarge it. I have done it with a number of the imported sights, which almost always have a very small opening. Work up one drill size at a time to avoid snagging and gouging the hole.

You can get a full set of bits from Harbor Freight for, I think, under $20. I bought a set from them a couple years ago when in AZ for the winter. They are not as precise and perfectly stepped as the precision set I have at home, but are certainly adequate for this job.

If this does you not good, sorry for the wasted post.
