WTS: Hensley & Gibbs, Lyman Bullet Molds 4 & 6 Cavity

I'm selling these for my 78 year old neighbor Sherman Mayes. He is a lifelong gun smith, stock maker and a very well know hand checkering expert. A mutual friend of ours passed away recently. He was a very well known knife maker and he loved casting bullets. Some may have heard of him. His name was Bob Levine. These molds were his. I only mention their names like this because of the amazing amount of knowledge these two have/had and are/were willing to share with me.

All are used and look to be in very good condition. These things are heavy so they will all ship medium flat rate priority at $15.00. Feel free to make offers. I'll pass them along to Sherman. Worst he can do is say no. If interested please post I'll take it and follow with PM. Checks, Money Order and PayPal is fine. If you have a better way to ship that's cheaper than $15.00 I'll work that out with you as well.

Of course I knew of Bob Levine, super respected knife maker and for good reason.

If it is still available I will absolutely take: 1) Hensley & Gibbs #50 Six Cavity Mold for .38 Wad Cutter 148 Grain. $150

Hi Jim, He was a character. He was always raiding mu vintage ammo collection to put with his old guns. The PM from gnoahhh finally came through so I need to honor that. I believe Sherman may have picked up several more of the molds today. I'll check with him and see what he got. Thanks, John

Glad that gnoahhh came through, wasn’t trying to cut him out, just didn’t know if he’d changed his mind or was negotiating or what.

Please do let me know what else you come up with.

    Jim
