    HGW 9mm 1911 Magazines

    I bought some Hooper Gun Works 9mm 1911 magazines on Ebay and the price was right and they are beautiful magazines but they are really hard to load!
    I could only get 7 rounds in a 9 round mag!
    I disassembled the one that I could only get 7 rounds in and compared the spring wire diameter and length and it was the same as the spring in a mag that came with the gun!
    Any idea what was wrong? I returned them for a refund because I tried calling, emailed and sent them a message via EBay and still have not gotten a reply ��!
    Anybody have experience with this company? I think their parts are made in Italy.

    I see Hooper Gun Works 9mm magazines cheap on EBay. Is that the magazines you are referring to, not Harris? Indeed, very cheap, if they work.
