Timiney Trigger in my CZ 452 American

Was adjusting the pull weight on the Timiney. Backing out the small hex head screw. Put it back together and thought I should apply some nail polish to keep it tight. When I separated the action from the stock I found out the screw an lock down nut was gone. Someware in my basement. Could not find it. However, the trigger functions fine around 2lbs. Seems like I do not need this part. Really like the weight and break of this trigger. Any thoughts about this?

Personally, I'd want to have those parts in my rifle. I'd bet Timney would send them to you, no problem. They are good people to deal with in my experience. I like their triggers too, I have a few of them in different models of rifles and all perform as advertised.

I'd contact Timney about your missing parts. I use nail polish that has the metal flake already in it for sealant after I clean off the oil with denatured alcohol.

I would contact Timmy for a replacement screw , or at least talk to them about the importance of it .
