I have been having nothing but trouble seeing into longer cases, specifically 223 (small mouth) and 38spl (tiny charge to case ratio).
Today I tried a headlamp and it helped.
Finally found a rhythm loading 223 on my Dillon 550.
No more fumbling to see, grabbing a flashlight or any other business.
Just look into the case and I could see the powder level.
It was so nice.
I have an in-line fab skylight kit on order, hopefully that will permanently solve my problem.
But for now the headlamp is great, especially once I grabbed the brighter one and got it adjusted correctly.

Just disappointed it took me so many years to figure it out. Especially since there has been a headlamp laying on the bench many times over the years, just never thought to use it.

The problem got worse lately with a move, lower bench, seated loading position and different lighting.
