WTS 22# Siamese Mauser 45-70 Benchrest Rifle

The barrel is 32" long 1-18(or 20) twist, full cylindrical and bit over one inch. (it was built up for a test bed for trapdoor Springfield loads so it has similar twist rate)The stock is a heavy laminate bench stock the base is set up for Weaver type rings. Set up as a single shot with aluminum tray and shoots very well. Aftermarket trigger but I don't remember what brand. The gun is professionally built not a home shop looking job.
The only caviot is you have to be very careful chambering so the extractor makes it over the rim. If you don't occasionly the fired case will stay in the chamber. Most often recocking and firing it will make the extractor pop over and it will extract.
Comes with a Lyman 500g? heavy spitzer bullet mold that I never used that came with the gun .I have to be honest I mostly shot the 457130 color button bullet and 457124 with low charges of Unique.

    $450 and shippjng by buyer.

Potential buyer got frightened by shipping cost.i would be too! realize the size of this gun and traveling across United States it's not going to be 20 bucks.
    $70-$100 is typical
Waiting for response may be still available
