    223 mold recormendation

    Can anybody recormend a 223 mold. I'm looking to use as a pactice round, 100 metes and less. For use in a AR15 straight pull.

    I swag my 223 rounds so take this with a grain of salt. I would use a no-lube grove mold and powder coat, the reason being, everytime a grove goes by the gas port is another chance for lead to plug it. I believe both mihec and noe make a mold just for this.

    there are at least 2 group buys going on for ar boolits, if you are not in a hurry one of those might be just what you need.

    I have a 60gr. Noe round nose bullet mould that my ARs feed well and are plenty accurate at 100yrds. and less. Gp

    My two favorites (but for 223 bolt action) are Lyman 225-646 and NOE 225-55-FN
