    MP Mold #4 Buck

I don’t know how to start a group buy. Or honcho one once started. I don’t want to undertake the burden of learning and keeping up with one (it seems like PITA, so I’m very grateful for those of you willing to do it!!)

I do, however, want a #4 buck from MP. Am I alone?

He made buck moulds a bit ago. I got a 000. I don't know if they went down to #4 though.

This is really all it takes to "start" a group buy. One of the mods will usually come in and run it, or once this gets enough traction, they'll make a new post with all the details

They look like that, MP made .310”, .320” and .330”, and .360”. I have .310 and .320. Very easy casting.

I’m glad to see some immediate interest!

MP has .310, .320, & .330 on his site, for those looking.

I have the .310 and it is, like all of my MP molds, very easy to cast with. Now I just want a #4 to go with it.

Looks like a Lee blank But with all that open mold space underneath you think they do a second or third row Or maybe a different size on the other side so you flip it over

Interest seems to have waned, but if we could get someone to make one like Cap'n Morgan made, i sure would get a couple.

Since this post, I’ve actually picked up a Lee 18 cavity. After using it, I can’t imagine trying to use a six cavity, like my MP .310 mold. I’d have to smoke some crack to move fast enough to keep it warm.

I’d be ‘in’ for one as in that thread.

For what it’s worth, I also have a Marty’s Arms mold for #1 buck with which I am extremely pleased.

If his #4 mold, or his combo 4 buck/00 buck mold are as good, I’d expect them to be viable alternatives.
