Looks similar to a 435218. Are the bands tapered?

No it is straight 44 caliber. No taper. Just size, lube or PC load and shoot.. For plinking to Cape Buffalo to you name it.

It most certainly is. A 320 JDJ.

It is definitely the 310 SSK. They call it a 310, presumably that is what it weights in linotype. In COWW they are closer to 325 gr. Mine has a slight taper. .432" at the base, and .429" at the top band. It's probably a manufacturing defect more than on purpose. I like this bullet a lot, it shoots good with less than full house loads.

There is a 355gr gas check version. This one is the 310 version, plain base.

I have this one and had Mountain Molds make me one in .452 and a wider meplat. With 17 gr 2400 my SBH loves it.

I shot many of these backed with 21.5 grains W296 and CCI 350 in Ruger SBH 4 5/8th gun. Fun to do.

I just wondered. To me it looks like what it is a 320JDJ. It looks closely like a Hornady 300 grain XTP if you will look at one. I have the older 2 crimp groove Hornady. . It doesn't look EXACTLY like the Hornady but it is close.
