I guess I will have to shorten and form .223 like you have said. But brass is not easy to get where I live. Everyone is picking their brass now.

I mentioned that yesterday. I think the last factory ammo I got was some HSM Cowboy action 44 Special. Not good at all in my New Model Blackhawk in 44 Special, but it is good Starline brass. I gave it away to a fellow who did not realize that you could shoot 44 Special in a 44 Magnum, and was complaining about getting beaten up by the Magnum. I told him "have fun and save me the brass".

I’m in fair shape for all things shooting related. I started preparing for firearm/ammo/component shortages (politically caused or otherwise) before the Jimmy Carter administration. I got pretty serious with preparing in all aspects of life during the Carter Administration! memtb

Scored at walmart today. I went in for a brick of 17hmr. And they were well stocked with 22lr. Grabbed 3 bricks of federal 40 grain 1200 FPS too. For my older 22 rifles. And no price gouging.

That's one thing good about Walmart...no gouging.

OS OK how does that 22 rifle shoot?. Was looking for decent 22 to play with but haven't heard much about how they shoot. Frank
