WTS - Beautiful M71 Mauser carbine, complete setup (Brass, dies, etc.) SPF

WTS beautiful M71 carbine. I believe this was a carbine model to begin with and was sporterized by fine checkering on wrist of the stock and a different front sight, as well as the Mannlicher stock was shortened slightly with end cap removed.
The bad...I can't get it to shoot accurately. But this was my first BP cartridge rifle, ever, a very different road for me. I have lost patience. I am certain that the rifle can be a good shooter with someone more knowledgeable than I am.
Everything else is good. I fell in love with this rifle at an estate sale, and really didn't know what I was buying. I love short big bore rifles. The blueing is near 100 percent. The action and bolt were in the white, and have patina. The bore is very shiny with sharp lands and grooves, absolutely no pitting or corrosion. The action is butter smooth. Every part is stamped with serial number or the last two, even the screws. And they all match. The rifle weighs 7lbs, and has a barrel a little over 19" if I recall. Trigger is very good. The checkering was a quality job, likely done very long ago. This rifle was built in 1876 I believe. The front sight looks to be German silver blade. Nicely done.
Accessories. About 25 brass I made using 45-90 that didn't work well. 40 brass from Buffalo Arms Company that works well, they made the case head correctly. Of those 40, I have only loaded 20, and fired them 1 time. 5 were fired 2 times. The others I made are still loaded. There are 20 Buffalo Arms brass that are brand new in the bag. A bag of 1000 over powder cards, with about 40 missing (that is all I fired with this rifle...giving up). A used Lyman 446110 single cavity mould in excellent condition, drops beautiful bullets. A 43 cal compression tool from Track of the Wolf, I believe. Lee pace setter dies, I bought them new, so they are barely used.
I am asking $800 and I will ship to your door, ground shipping. No FFL required. And I believe loaded cartridges are legal to ship ground shipping, someone correct me if I am wrong, and I will pull all loaded rounds apart if that is the case.
Will accept Paypal plus 3%, or US Postal money order, personal check. I will wait until funds clear before shipping rifle. I have 100 percent positive feedback on all forums I am on and flea bay.
If anyone is seriously interested and has questions, we can exchange phone numbers by private message.
    Thanks for looking. Dan SPF

    Nice rifle, Dan!!

I'm not too well versed on these - what caliber is it chambered in?

What is the barrel length? The Carbine should be 19" or so. Very interested had one and let it go.

KCSO, the barrel measures about 19 1/8". Here is your chance for redemption!

If buyer for rifle doesn’t want the reloading package, I’m interested in those.
