Loads for Ranch Dog 35 Remington

I finally got around to casting the NOE 190gr RD bullet for the 35 Remington. So far the most accurate, but not the fastest is 27gr of Reloader 7. How about giving me your favorite load for this bullet. I'm shooting it out of a Marlin 336A with a 24" barrel. Thanks in advance

Until I switched to the Lee 200 I shot a good many RD bullets in my bolt action 35 Rem but had to seat them a little deep and had some feeding issues . It wasn't too picky on loads . Two of my best were with AA2230 35 grs I believe and imr4895 at 38 gr. Heck even used some pulled down CZ 54R powder that shot well . It was similar to 4895 in burn speed .

IMHO, With that boolit design, you don't need fast to be very effective.. I believe you will be better of with accracy over speed, unless it is important to you how fast the projectile/boolit is, as it misses it's intended target.

I don't have that particular mold, but Leverevolution powder gives me good results in my .35 with several different bullets.

We think along the same lines. 17gr Blue Dot for me. Works fine on 200M cowboy silhouettes.

Saving money loading 12 grains unique and Lee’s 200 GC for about 1500 FPS. Deadly accurate in my waffle top 336SC. Mild enough to plink with.
