    From the Hodgdon website:

    Manufacturer
    Powder
    Primer
    Wad
    Grs.
    Pressure
    Vel. (ft/s)
    Hodgdon
    HS-6
    Win. 209
    WAA12F114
    30.0
    8,400 PSI
    1,250
    Hodgdon
    HS-6
    Win. 209
    WAA12F114
    31.0
    8,700 PSI
    1,300

These are in WW AA hulls, both CF and HS, loaded with 9 pellets of 00. Just substitute the #1-1/2 pellets if you prefer them.

I load .311 cast balls in a standard wad using payload data equal to the weight of the 9 round balls.

Same here. The advantage of #1 or 1-1/2 is that they don't bulge the hulls when loaded in a plastic wad. Just load equal weight of the #00 recipes. Also, the 1-1/2 can be loaded 2x2 in some wads. Hogtamer has shared these loads that patterned spectacularly well! He attributes his success to the 2x2 pllet stack, saying that the pellets move more freely through the choke. Makes sense to me. One load used #00, the other was #1.
