    It's an older RCBS. The die is carbide. Never thought to use some lube on the cases. That should solve my problem. Thanks for all the advice. You are all a bunch of good guys.

    Yah, don't buy a new press. This thread may end up with a recommendation of the CH Champion press (still available on special order).

    Hornady One Shot works for me quite well on all but the largest brass. For that I use wax or homemade. I use a plastic zip lock bag but a plastic butter tub would work just as well I think
