    I had a 572 back in the 60's. Was in the Air Force and stationed at a Detachment out in the hills of Wyoming. They used for some reason small blue plastic bleach bottles that were maybe 4X4 inches. I would set them out at the rifle range we had next to the Detachment and at 100 yards from a wood table rest I would have no trouble hitting them all of the time. 572 was scoped.

    Were you at pinedale? Or the Encampment?
