    New mile stone!

I see we have passed 50,000 members! When we started, we figured it would never top 1500!
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!

I know only of 2 locally that cast other than me, but I am not friends with them. I've also met two members from here. Wish I knew some more.

I do not know anyone that casts.

    Nice to see membership growing.

Speaking for myself, I have found that this site holds a wealth of information on casting, shooting, hunting and general firearms lore. Also, it is a pretty disciplined place; you don't get the language and arguing that is prevalent on other forums. It is a well-run forum that knows its members.

I have used this site to gain knowledge from people that are way ahead of others, but are still humble.

    Woo Hoo!!! Good deal.
With what we are seeing in the firearms and ammunition market, I can only see more people starting to reload.

I know for a fact that I wouldn't be a caster if it wasn't for this site. Our community is so helpful to new and familiar members alike. So much knowledge here, and yet most are polite and friendly. I love it here.

Its good to see the site growing. Casting seems to be an "old guy" thing. Theres even a poll about the age of casters. We need to keep the art of casting alive.
