    VTI vs win. parts ?

    Well I am rebuilding a 76 win. was wondering if the finger lever & loading gate from VTI would fit ,, without to much fitting to the parts ??

    UP DATE !!! talked to VTI via E-Mail ,, YES the Uberti 76 finger levers will fit a Win. ( Chaparral ) 76 w/ slight modifacation's ,, we'll see.

    The Parts Lady at VTI is an encyclopedia of what outfit’s parts fit what other repros, what parts can be made to fit with some extra work, and what won’t under any circumstance. She’s steered me right on several occasions. Glad to see she knows about originals, too. A genuine National Resource!

    New Up Date !! yes the VTI 1876 finger lever will fit a win. ( Chaparral ) w/ a small alteration to the " lever spring ",, ,, Got'r done.
