    Carnuba wax question ?

    Is there any such thing as "pure" Carnuba wax without the
    other stuff in car wax ? If so, where do you get it ?

    do a google search for "carnuba wax flakes" thats what I just did and this was the first hit.

    I got some years ago and use it for casting flux. it does a nice job and smells nice.

    I buy carnuba flake from WoodCraft and other wood finishing establishments. I use it in formulating my custom antique wood finishes.

    For bullet lube you only need 1 or 2 %.

    Yes stick with flakes as carnuba is the hardest natural wax around and is rather difficult to mange in a big chunk.

    Shred chunks of whatever you wish to use with a cheep Dollar Store kitchen grader and make your own flakes.

    The carnuba wax I have been selling is in a powder form. The easiest of all to get it melted and in solution.
