    Most manuals recommend .750.
I don't bother to trim mine. Never had an issue with length.
If they act similar to 45ACP brass, they will shorten as they are fired over time.

I just load them all , But I do use a load in the low to mid of the loads in the book
So I am never close to max

Unless I wanted to do Match shooting
I just load the mixed brass all the same OAL
Some have a bit extra of the bullet inside or outside of the case
    But they all go bang

LOL I messed up and loaded some 380 ACP with 9 MM powder charge and bullets
I just had REAL long 380 ACP loads
Even these short cased loads shot fine out of my Glock 17
So IMO case length isn't a big deal

Agree with previous posts, load em and shoot em.

Case trimming is more for rifle cartridges. Never trimmed a handgun case ever.

I taper crimp, and have yet to trim any 9mm or .45ACP.
    I haven't had a problem so far.

I have done that a few times. Went ahead and fired them with the rest of the 9mm. The pistols never noticed the difference.

I taper crimp, and have never needed to trim any 9mm, .40 S&W or .45ACP.

Never heard of 9mm extending. Just load them up and forget the trimming.
