    Lyman #55 Parts

Spoke to Lyman CX service today 0n 9/25/20. Just ordered some small parts and was told only a small amount left and that once they are gone that's it. afish4570@gmail.com

I have 2 that I will never part with. Bought and sold quite a few over the years in deals that were too good to pass on.

I have a Lyman 55 powder measure that I use sometimes. So they won't be selling the 55 anymore or parts? (I couldn't open the link). My RCBS Uniflo won't through Titegroup accurately but the Lyman does fine with it. The cavity and the adjustments on the #55 measure are completly unique compared to the RCBS unit.

I thought something sounded strange, so I went back and looked at the 2020 Lyman Catalog. On Page 14 they still show the Standard and Classic 55 Powder Measures, painted now in their grey crackle finish. They've added some accessories in with the old 55s and integrated the new "Brass Smith" stuff in with it. I'm wondering whether this could have been a miscommunication... a frequent event these days with people answering phones from home, etc. I hope (at least) that the old classic 55 hasn't fallen victim to modernization.
