Anyone loading 9mm jwords with this powder? This is what it was designed to do and the vendor says to use unique data. Just looking for real world experience.

It would be neat if 4.9 grains was a useful load, but I have no idea if it would be safe or useful. "What's your load ? BR549"

According to an Alliant Powder Reloader's Guide I downloaded, a max load of Unique for a 9mm, 124 grain bullet is 5.8 grains so 4.9 grains should be a safe load. For a 147 grain bullet it would be over the max of 4.3 grains.

Spell check doesn't work in Chrome, so if something is spelled wrong, it's just a typo that I missed.

I am loading 9mm.. 115 gr at 5.5 gr COAL 1.150 dependent on nose shape. 124gr at 5.4gr .357 JHP

38 super 6.7 to 7.0 gr 115gr JHP ....could go hotter but not for paper-poking ..

    45acp 6.8gr , 230 ball.... 7.5 gr is close to max

The 9mm runs the Smith 76 smoothly and the 45 runs all the buzzer just fine. All the pistols show normal pressure signs, except the Glucks cuz I dont have or want one.....

4.7 to 5.4 gr has been working great for me with 124 gr cast or plated 9mm.
