Ruger Old Armies only came in one caliber. They all take a .457" round ball or a .454 conical. Blue or SS with adjustable or fixed sights.

Interesting fit and finish on the "brass frame" ones. What was the serial number range for the "brass frame" ones (start & ending)? Prices sure do vary a lot!

Ruger ever made a brass frame. What are you talking about?

If you go with the ROA, stainless is a better choice, all around. The blued versions only come with a front site that is not pinned. While the stainless one is pinned, thus easier to change out. If you choose to shoot the heavier conicals, a higher front sight is mandatory, and is a simple fix for the SS version. The other advantage is the corrosion resistance.
