    Back when I was still a contributing member of society I ran several E-commerce sites. As the OP stated the items would fit in a padded envelope. How do you know that? You need to be able to write down the logic for that assumption. That is what the programmer needs to program that in the website. UPS and other shippers charges are based on both weight and size.
    Calculating shipping costs is probably the most difficult thing to program. I have had the same problem at NOE's site. I just try different combinations of stuff.

    I had a nice chat with Al (NOE owner) yesterday.

    He said he could/would hire 3 more employees IF he could find suitable applicants .

    he also said that the shipping price glitch is on/from the USPS site, NOT THE NOE SITE

    Wish I was retired and lived in that part of the country. Would be fun to work in the business again.

    I bought a sizer die and added gas checks and had a $11.25 shipping charge instead of the 7.75. Still cheaper that trying to find them locally.
