    Anybody heard of "Hytin"?

Checked the LGS a few days ago and looked like somebody had turned in a pile of casting material. These were part of the bunch.
HYTIN UMB and Imperial. They "tink" too much to be pure lead I think. Couldn't find anything at all in a search.
I know it's a shot in the dark, but figgered I'd take a shot at $25 for the lot.. Got lead, light on hardner. d:^)

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_metal

Regeneration metal to add tin, antimony lost with the dross back into the type metal mix.

Looking at the wiki page above, probably something like 9% tin, 12% antimony. Good buy!

Thanks for posting the information as a friend of mine that worked in at is family scrap yard gave me a 45 pound ingot and now know what alloy it is. No immediate plans for use but will keep it around.
