    Blasted some teal this morning.

Loaded up some 1oz #5’s in once fires Winchester 3” hulls. Used the CDS100 wads, Fed209A primer and 32 grs of Longshot. Data called for Fiocchi hulls and primers along with 34 grs of Longshot.

Had primer flow back, so my loads where a little on the hot side even though I decreased powder.

However, this load is a freakin hammer. Smoked two teal with one shot and stoned a couple past 40 yards.

I forgot about Teal. Here the season for them always started the same time as our muzzle loader deer season so I'd run into Teal hunters sometimes.

They always seemed so little, seems like they wouldn't take a heavy load of #5s, but I guess steel shot is different.

    Looks like a good time.

Our season is about ready to start. We worked on the duck boat today, teal are a hard target! Those pictures are awesome, my son is 14 and lives for duck season!

Getting some teal was always a bonus during a dove hunt back in my teenage years when steel shot wasn’t required. Y’all did great, neighbors! Thanks for sharing.
