Well stocked on powder and not too bad on primers. Not worried about getting more, a lot of what I have will go to my son, and some to my shooting buddies. Don't shoot as much as I used to, arthritis limits how much I can shoot. My favorite handgun load is 3.1 grs Bullseye and have about 14-15# on hand. For 06, 30/40, and 243 about 10# of Red and 8# of Blue Dot. Have enough 4064, 4350, and 748 for the few jacketed loads I shoot. Probably 12-13 K each large pistol and rifle primers and a few K each small rifle and pistol just in case I need to load some 223, 357, 9mm or use up some of my SPP 45 brass. Toss up if I will run out of brass or components first.

It's not hoarding until you have more than a lifetime supply.

Perhaps we should extend "lifetime" to include those of our children and grandchildren?

I keep thinking I just need to get one more jug of 2400, but its not like I'm suffering from any kind of powder shortage. is this addiction.
If you keep buying powder thinking the price will increase or saving it to put in your will ... and do minimal reloading ... you have a sickness

The National Fire Protection Code limits residential homes to no more than 50lb of smokeless powder.

how much is enough? too much? I know what not enough is.
Say you walk in front of a dumptruck tomorrow?
How much is enough for your wife to despose off?
Then how much in 50+ years?

    Ypu set the bar!
    And noone else!

Well I was a little thin on slow powders . Mom took me to the back room and said "this is most of it . I'm sure there's some more here somewhere. "
No where near what I had on hand but a good fill out . Who doesn't need another jug of Unique .
By the straight math I'm pretty close to even on powder and primers unless I get nuts on 12 ga , I should probably get a couple more cartons of 209s . The Herters H209 were ok 15 years ago when I tried a tray I'm a little concerned about the High Score size 209 .......

At this point I expect since my granddaughters are already shooting some , in a Poppa expects this kind of way , that it's likely my great grands will get to shoot some of my stash up even if I don't buy another flake .

Not to hijack but related. Does anybody use Winchester Super Target for hand gun loads? Might be easier to find or at least another option. Primers are going nuts on GB.

But do you run out in less than a few years? I believe that this crisis will pass.
