    looking for fellow Coloradans (sp?)

I'm new into shooting, my wife and i used to bowl and now that social distancing makes that not happening, we decided to get into shooting. Finally got a 9mm each and ready to go....but cant find ammo...OK will reload my own, picked up lot of cases from the range (with permission), .. got a press,...Now cant find bullets,.... OK will make my own, which brings me here!! lucky my dad had thousand's of SP primers laying around, hope age does not effect them.

So if anyone is out there and lives north of Denver give me a shout.

    Scott

    Hi Scott,
Welcome to Cast Boolits! I commend you on asking for like minded folks near you. The very best way to get started in either casting, reloading, or both is to have a mentor that can guide you through the steps and keep you from making mistakes that we've all made (and some are still making!) I hope there is someone in your area who will pick up the gauntlet and offer to help. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with a gentleman here in my town who was new to casting that I "met" on a shooting forum. We had a few sessions together and he's doing great on his own now. It's not only a great way to learn, but also a wonderful opportunity to meet others. Unfortunately, you got into this at the wrong time as almost all the shelves are bare of ammo and components, but don't let that get you down. Come here and use the search function if you have questions. If you can't find an answer, by all means, post a question and there are lots of really smart, experienced folks ready to offer advice and assistance. Again, welcome!
    Ed

Hi Scott, Colorado Springs, avid caster here. I’m currently in CA at my second house doing maintenance and such. I have casting and reloading gear at both places. I also have family in Thornton. Wife and I used to bowl in a league but haven’t in years. We’ve always been shooters. Anyway, welcome, Frank

There is no problem so great, that it cannot be solved by the proper application of high explosives.
