    Winchester 1890

Headed out to look for elk when the wife asked to 'butcher a couple of chickens before you go". Well, the chickens run on 2 acres so....I complied. Fortunately she specified skinless for the order. The boys and I were out of there in less than 20 minutes.

I did a stupid trick back in 70s. I got all the ammo out of a HWD that had doors since middle 50s over heirs & probate. There was a good bit of rimfire. Shot up a lot of the 22wrf and 22auto in 22mags for plinking ammo. In 22mg the 22wrf was like a long and 22auto was the short. I still have some of that ammo left and it’s good as new. Most of 22wrf I’ve got left is Rem 22 special.
There are several local guys with 1890 win and m12 Rems in 22wrf. that came down through family.
