Good deal, we drove to Maine 4.5hrs today to find less ammo at twice that price each!

He had some other stuff I didn't take, yet...
.38-55, some .32 S&W short, and some .25 Remington, nothing I could ever use but maybe trade fodder down the line.

The .256 Newton was really intriguing, probably 100 year old ammo, wish the box had been with it.

Nice. Always good when you find the hard stuff at a phenomenal price.

Nice find. Like everything else, the price of ammo keeps going up.

I have a friend with a brace of Bauer .25's that may be induced to part with one, always running into 7mm Mausers, I may shoot the .303 in my Ross but hate cleaning up after corrosive ammo, the rest will probably stay in my stash just in case but will definitely peddle the Newton ammo at least.

The great thing about those kinda finds, is now you have a reason to go buy guns to match the ammo !!!!!

I would be a very fortunate man indeed if I could find an original Newton! Fascinating caliber, basically .25-06 before there was a.25-06, just didn't have the range of powders to really make it fly.
