It would be a shame to use it for lead!

I like mine, but gosh is it heavy compared to some of the other old brands.

    I prefer a 10.25 over a 12" for most use.

Lodge just released the "2020 Made In America" skillet, a beautiful 10.25" tribute to the working women of WWII. Pretty cool looking likeness of the "Rosie The Riveter" wartime poster art.

    Attachment 267482

Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment—women’s right to vote—with this Rosie the Riveter skillet. The latest design in the Made in America Series™ not only recognizes an icon of American history, but honors our country’s strong manufacturing background. As the oldest family-owned cast iron cookware manufacturer in America, we find Rosie the Riveter represents the lasting value women provide in manufacturing jobs. Experience unmatched quality with this skillet, proudly designed and made in the USA for more than 124 years. This 2020 Made in America Series skillet, available for one year, adds a unique and collectible flair to this fan-favorite size. Featuring both an assist handle and an easy-grip handle for great control and hanging storage when not in use, this skillet is crafted to cook memorable meals for generations. Seasoned and ready to use.

Seasoned with 100% natural vegetable oil
Unparalleled heat retention and even heating
Use in the oven, on the stove, on the grill, or over a campfire
Use to sear, sautι, bake, broil, braise, or grill
    Great for induction cooktops
    Made in the USA

Not a bad deal at all for $19.20. The 19th amendment was ratified in 1920, hence the $19.20 price tag. I ordered one it will look nice hanging on the wall.

They also made 100 of these with a polished logo on the bottom, coated with poly, not meant to cook in and they disappeared within minutes of release. They will be priced accordingly WHEN you can find one at auction I bet.

Got a .22 .30 .32 .357 .38 .40 .41 .44 .45 .480 or .500 S&W cylinder that needs throats honed? 9mm, 10mm/40S&W, 45 ACP pistol barrel that won't "plunk" your handloads? 480 Ruger or 475 Linebaugh cylinder that needs the "step" reamed to 6° 30min chamfer? I’m exactly the opposite. One thing about the 12” pan I like is the extra distance often needed for getting a spatula in there.
Chicago Deep dish pizza there. It has a lb of sausage, a lb of bacon and a lb of pepperoni in there.
My 10.25” is relegated mostly to side dishes or corn bread these days.

Nope. I don’t have a wood stove in my house, just the garage. I have made essentially the same thing in Dutch ovens on scout camp outs.

I got my 13" to support the survivors of the fires a few years ago. Yes, it's heavier than my old one but they both cook well. We are on vacation at a resort and the fry pans are steel and non-stick but do stick. I told LOML that I've spoiled myself with our Cast Iron - she agreed.

Well, I guess they figure if you can't get it done with an iron skillet what in the world do you need a gun for?

Not necessarily, If I owned a business I would not have a sign saying guns welcome. The right to bear arms doesn't necessarily mean the right to carry them onto someones private property.
The flat 14.25" was on sale for the same price.

The sign is Illegal in TN. It does not meet legal specifications. But they want people to obey something that is illegal. Unless a sign is legal I don't pay any attention to it in TN.

My favorite store selling Lodge iron is a farm store. The cast iron display is one aisle from the gun section.

As far as I can ascertain Lodge isn't anti gun it is just some of the stores that sell it. Still I can by my cookware somewhere else other than an anti gun place.
