    Birds and beasts

The 45 colt carbine strikes again. A nice grouse using a round ball from a Hammond Game Getter.

And a wolf, 280 grain powder coated, 50-50 air cooled, 1100FPS, propelled by HS-6. Range was about 55 yards. Through both shoulders, down in 5 yards.

Well done. A meal before you skin the Lobo! And done with an 135 year old design gun. Killing both at 300 yards with the newest tacticool gun would have been boring!
