I grew up shooting a Daisy bb-gun. From there, i graduated up to a single shot 20 gauge and then a Ruger 10/22. I havent returned to air rifles until about 30 years later. 5 years or so ago, i bought a Beeman Silver Kodiakx2.
This purchase was to serve a purpose for when ammo was scarce. I bought several tins of various bulk pellets also. After several failures to get good groups, i stashed it in the back of my safe.
Recently I learned that some air rifles have a thousand break in period. After reading the owners manual, I saw that mine was one of those.
So, armed with some pellets, i shot the heck out of that rifle. Wouldnt you know it...after almost s thousand rounds, i am getting impressive groups.
Learned something new
