    GR8 Shake containers

I bought these heavy duty #5 containers on Feebay (item #262668632928) to shake my bullets in, and WOW are they HEAVY duty, and inexpensive! I bought 15 ($16.65 shipping free) initially to see how good they are (made in the U.S no less) but I'm sorry I didn't get 50 @ $37 with free shipping.

The chintzy look alike "standard" weight type you get bulk pickles or olives in at the markets only lasted me 6 or 7 shakes before cracking and I can eat only so many olives and pickles These are far stronger. Check them out.

I use 3" schedule 40 PVC. It'll last forever and a 1' section section can hold about 500 9mm bullets.

But... but I like to see what's going on

Also how in the world do you seal sch40 without paint leaking all over the place through the end caps?

they make a rubber compression cap for pvc, also the pvc really puts out the static charge.

Heavy duty tape on the bottom one on and just use hand pressure to hold down the other side while shaking. I should have just used PVC cement, but at the time Gorilla tape was sitting right next to me.... For the first attempt I had no idea if it was going to work, but it ended up working out so well I haven't changed anything since then.

When pressed down firmly the end caps stay on pretty well. Opening up the end cap can be the hard part if too much pressure is used. I've had to grab a screwdriver to pry it off a couple of times.

    Costco nut containers.

But I use them for HiTek coating. For PC, I'm not so sure, especially about the static electricity thing.

The takeout containers I get from a couple of different restaurants are about perfect for me. Black bowl with a clear lid. Builds static well, and the clear lid let's me see when I am done shaking. Bonus is that it gives me an excuse to order up some lamb korma.

I use coffee "can" containers, they swirl easy and have a grip built in.

I use the plastic tubs they sell their takeaway soups in from Tom Thumb. I don't shake by hand, though - I put 2 tubs into my vibratory case-cleaner and let 'em buzz for 5-10 minutes.
