    Target master feed ramp

Does anyone know wether the feedramps were the same for all 510 target masters. I believe there was a few diffrent sub models like 510a Mine has been missing since i was a kid and I'm getting to the point id like to get this thing back to its former glory. As soon as i can find an original stock and this feed ramp i plan on refinishing this wonderful little rifle. It has served me well so id like to repay it by fixing it up even if i have to have a new one milled out and pay a small fortune at the machine shop. I'll have to scratch the paint off to find out if there are any letters after the model number

There are several of the feed ramps for that rifle available on our favorite auction site at the moment.

As the reciever is the same between models I would think that the feed ramp would be too but I've been wrong before.

Okay i just put the ramp in the gun and it works fine i had to take a few thousands off the front of the ramp with a stone cause the pins were a little too tight and i didnt want to break anything. So theres your answer folks later ramp in a older receiver

    Good to know.
My father told me about taking the parts from a tube fed 512 that had a ruined barrel and put them in a 510 receiver. He claimed it went right together and worked fine. He had to use the stock from the 512 for it to work but all the parts fit fine.
Based on that, the receivers must all be pretty much the same.
I don't plan on dismantling mine to see if it works though.

I thought about trying to make this a clip gun but was beaten back by the the memories i have of using this when i was a kid and want it to go back to original condition. Now i just have to find a stock a bbl pin and reblue it. Projects never end around here just upgraded.
