    Odd ball 22 pistol

I picked up this pistol last fall and never messed with it. Looks like a miniature 1911 but has running gears similar to a PP Walther. American Arms, NKS MO and model PK cal 22lr. on slide, steel. Frame is alloy marked made in USA. It had been painted black and was peeling so I removed all black from frame. On right side of slide, Design by Erma Werke. It appears fired little and was truck gun from wear on finish. Double action is stiff but SA not bad and has minute of beer can at 20’. Wouldn’t mind picking up extra mag but can’t find squat on company.Attachment 266913

Erma shut down some years ago. Their machinery now makes Henry rifles.

This pistol is second rate firearm. Not junk but not worth spending $50 on a magazine. Maybe just trade or sell it since demand for low end handguns is high.

The thing is, if you like it and enjoy it, it is worth it, even for a second rate firearm.
If it wasn't for "second rate firearms" i would not have half the guns I have.

I’ve got to many top shelf 22 revolvers and pistols to go out of my way for this type gun. I just sold a Walther PP I had for years cause it really wasn’t good for much. Well made 32auto? What does one do with it? Most of my stuff is hunting or target. I’m in process of selling everthing but heirlooms anyway.

Please keep in mind that YMMV a lot from other folk's opinions.
