    Good initial results!
    Now repeat the whole process ten times and check for consistency. Type up a report and post it here for scientifical analysis. Submit a patent for your process and put me in for 5% of your license royalties. My lawyer will forward you my bank routing info.

    I use Brinell's method of testing hardness, which is driving a specific sized ball bearing into the material at a certain weight, and get repeatable results down to 0.5 BHN.
