    TC Compass in 308

Needed a 308 bolt gun because I sold my last one in a lapse of common sense. So I picked up a Thompson Center Compass in 308. The price was right. Anyone have some experience with it? Accurate? The trigger is terrible but I should be able to clean that up. I'll start breaking it in after the hurricane leaves town.

Mine is exceptionally accurate. When I was developing a load, none grouped worse than 2 MOA.

My hunting load is sub MOA for 5 shots using 165 Sierra GameKings:

TC has always been known for making good barrels. Good luck hunting for the handload your barrel likes. Since none of us own your barrel, we will be of limited help. Are there any aftermarket triggers for TC rifles? Most of my Rugers have Timney triggers.

Inexpensive, accurate, and tough as nails, what’s not to like? I have two of them. The trigger doesn't adjust like they say t does, but a Model 70 trigger spring will work, and lightens the pull considerably.

I just got an Email from Kentucky Gun Co today, and they are having the $50 dollar rebate on the Compass which makes them $235 without glass after rebate.https://images.kygunco.com/Follow_Yo...r-Compass.html They evidentally have an AccuTrigger style trigger now.

Yup. Tackdriver as are all the TC Compass rifles I've bought. I sold a 6.5 Creed to a friend that with handloads was a .5 MOA. Great value as an Axis is
