    midwest powders?

I saw that American reloading, the place that has overpriced pulled bullets, has been offering powder, called midwest powder, that supposedly is over run from ammo manufacturers , I found this info a bit sketchy as if any ammo manufacturers would have too much powder and if they are pulling bullets what are they doing with the powder. I guess I question everything. my only experience with them was years ago paid them for 1000 90gr 6.8 gold dots and received 500 115 grain fmj
learned my lesson the hard way.

I have placed a couple of orders for milsurp powder from Redeye reloading. One was a Midwest Powder. Never had any complaints.

I just got an E-Mail saying they got something back in stock.

Turns out it is a Midwest Powder "MP-190".

Based on their load data (see below), it looks real close to Autocomp (especially the 45 ACP load) which is the Hodgdon powder between Universal and HS-6.

The 12 lbs for $250 and 6 lbs for $150 with shipping & hazmat included are both very tempting.
