    AR15 Stock Parts

I am looking for the lock release bolt and nut for for a mil-spec AR collapsible stock. I've cast about and can't find anyone who sells stock parts.

    Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

might help to post a photo. all I have seen use a spring loaded pin unless I am just not understanding what you are looking for.

You are right. Here is the only one I found. At Numrich, but they are sold out.

remove the stock from your gun(probably already is) and take it into a hardware store, they should have something that will fit.

I believe you are right. It's not too complicated. Back in the 80s, if you wanted to build an AR, you had to buy just about every piece individually. (And I did.) Today you can only find "kits". Generally makes it easier but takes some of the "do it yourself" pride out of it.

Thanks for the replies. I've been lurking for years and have enjoyed the knowledge displayed.
